Dear Sir            Saturday morning Mr. Wood of our staff talked with Mr. St. Jeor concerning the trip by motor car over a portion of your line by Mr. Ward Hall, our transportation engineer, who will act as examiner at the bearing on December 1st. Mr. Hall and also Mr. Gregory and Mr. Wood of the Commission's staff are planning to arrive in Merced on the Santa Fe train No. 60 about 1230 p.m. November 30th, and it will be appreciated if you can arrange to have Mr. St. Jeor meet them at that time and take them by motor over as much of the track as will be feasible during the time available.
