MANY TO VISIT PARK BY TRAIN

Reservations for taking 25 parties including more than 2,000 persons by special train into Yosemite park during June, July and August have already been listed, it was announced today by W. L. White, general manager of the Yosemite Valley Railroad company.

The greater part of the groups will be in California during the summer to attend conventions throughout the state, and are scheduled to take special trains and cars out of Merced for the valley. The parties will include one of 250 delegates to the National Electric Light association meeting in San Francisco June 16 to 20. This group will arrive in Merced from southern California on June 13, be transferred to two special Yosemite Valley Railroad company trains and proceed to the valley for a two days' stay, returning by special trains June 15.

Two hundred delegates to a convention of the Florists Telegraph Delivery association in San Francisco September 1 to 5, will arrive in Merced August 31 and take a special train to the valley for a one day's stay. Another large party will come here on special trains making a tour of the country in charge of Raymond & Whitcomb, eastern tourist agency. There will be about 150 in this group. Their special cars will be hooked onto a Yosemite railroad engine and go to the valley on July 1, to remain one day.

White said today that indications point to one of the biggest seasons in the history of the valley, with hundreds of persons writing in weekly for information. Before the start of the heaviest season, June 1, reservations will be made for a number of additional parties to go by special train, he predicted.
